Acupuncture

You can visit your acupuncturist for all the same reasons you might go to a GP, as well as for general wellbeing and health maintenance. Acupuncture has been used for thousands of years and continues to grow in popularity and acceptance. There is also a growing body of scientific evidence showing the efficacy of acupuncture.

Data collected from over 260 previous patients at The Acupuncture Academy showed that they attended for diverse reasons including:

  • emotional and mental health
  • digestive complaints
  • musculoskeletal pain
  • menopause
  • endometriosis
  • fertility
  • insomnia
  • migraines

Half of the patients had been suffering with their main complaint for over five years. 91% of patients reported a meaningful improvement after just five treatments.

Ask your practitioner whether acupuncture could help you – and see the British Acupuncture Council website for more information including videos and research factsheets: www.acupuncture.org.uk

Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese healing technique that involves inserting thin, sterile needles into specific points on the body. The goal is to stimulate these acupuncture points to promote natural healing processes, balance the flow of energy (known as qi or chi), and address a wide range of physical, emotional, and mental health conditions.
